The design and creation of this large country pond garden was centred around the client’s wish to have a large natural pond. The addition of an oak, pondside cabin and oak-boarded jetty allows the clients to fully immerse themselves in nature and wildlife. Surrounding this large, natural pond, mown pathways lead you through swathes of wildflowers to orchards and a woodland walk, creating a truly diverse, species-rich habitat teeming with wildlife.

Closer to the house, deep, multi-layered traditional herbaceous borders wrap around formal mown lawns. Clipped yew hedges and bespoke iron gates, designed by our team and crafted by an exceptional blacksmith and metalwork artist with whom we have worked closely with for many years, divide this magnificent large country garden into distinct areas, each with its own character and charm.
