When commissioned to design and create this garden, our client wished us to focus the scheme around the summer months, when they would spend the most time at the property and in the garden.

The secluded rear garden features a swimming pool, sun terrace and several seating and entertaining areas for dining and socialising. Each area is defined by a combination of reclaimed flagstone and herringbone brick paving with elegant, handmade feature pots bringing all these elements together. Soft, traditional-style planting is punctuated by sculptural Taxus topiary, adding energy, rhythm, and definition to the garden.

At the front of the property, the design adopts a traditional, romantic style, with mixed borders combining feature Taxus topiary, scented roses, lavender and summer-flowering perennials. This planting, together with reclaimed flagstone paving and herringbone brick pathways continued from the rear, creates a harmonious and welcoming sense of arrival.
