Contemporary Country Garden

Contemporary Country Garden

Gustard Wood, Hertfordshire

This large country garden features a fusion of contemporary and traditional styles. The striking umbrella shaped Taxus set amongst the soft swathes of naturalistic, planting form the backbone to the main garden. A wide walkway of clay pavers, accented with corten steel planters and a water feature, makes the journey to the pool house a pleasurable, immersive experience.

Other key features include areas for entertaining and relaxation as well as a large wildflower meadow and orchard- not only a haven for wildlife but also a great place for an evening stroll through the meandering mown pathways.
