Garden On The High Street
Our High Street garden in Harpenden provides us an opportunity to display our work and planting styles, which we like to change frequently. To add a focal point to the space we have installed a large, corten steel water feature bowl.
Our most recent scheme features Taxus clipped in to sweeping curves to frame the new planting. We introduced two small, specimen, multi-stem Amelanchier lamarckii trees to add height and interest, alongside a combination of grasses and ferns to create a calming understory around the corten steel water feature.
Previous schemes include the installation of a small woodland style garden with birches, ferns and other woodland style plants; a scheme filled with the striking architectural form of alliums; and soft swathes of naturalistic planting combining perennials and grasses.
