Informal Parterre

In this front garden, we incorporated sculptural, architectural statement plants to provide height, form, and visual impact. These were combined with informal, naturalistic planting, creating a dynamic contrast between structured and relaxed elements.

All of this sits within a carefully considered framework of brick pathways, which guides you through the space and helps define the garden’s layout. The result is a contemporary take on the parterre style: a garden that feels both structured and relaxed, formal yet approachable, with layers of texture, colour, and movement throughout.
