The Oak Garden

The large oak tree, set amidst the sweeping, curved lawn, was a key feature of the garden and held special significance for our client. This inspired the creation of a stunning, handcrafted octagonal oak structure, which we designed and commissioned. The structure provides our clients with a peaceful retreat, perfectly positioned to enjoy views back to the oak tree and the property.

Sweeping, herbaceous and mixed borders wrap around the garden creating a soft, harmonious flow, that unites the different areas of the garden. Other features include seating areas perfect for entertaining, a brick pathway framed by planting that leads to a handcrafted oak bench, and secluded spots that provide a peaceful retreat. The pathway winds through swathes of perennials and seasonal blooms, creating a sense of discovery and enhancing the garden’s natural rhythm.
